For finger joints, it is important to consider the thickness tolerances of acrylic to prevent internal stresses and thus cracks or breakage. The material can be glued, printed, sawn, sanded, milled, and bent afterwards. For each operation, it is important to consider that the cutting process puts pressure on the cutting edge; if the acrylic is then processed, small cracks can sometimes occur.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo give line and surface engravings greater contrast, they can be filled with paint (color fill).
