A major advantage of cardboard is that it can be easily printed before or after processing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBecause the material and processing are relatively inexpensive compared to other materials, it is often used for prototypes. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDesign considerations\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCorrugated cardboard is most suitable for cutting; line engravings are also possible, but due to the power of the laser cutters, the engraving lines can sometimes penetrate the material a little.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eArea engraving is possible, but not recommended due to the wavy core. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eLaser cutting\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCorrugated cardboard is cut very quickly, leaving very little soot residue on the cut. The edges can optionally be wiped with a dry cloth.
