This also applies to surface engravings. The cutting process can cause residue on the underside of the material; this can be prevented with protective film. Residue on the top side mainly occurs due to surface engravings, but cutting and engraving lines also contribute to this. Residue on the top side of the material can be prevented by protective film on the top side.
