For finger joints, it is important to consider the thickness tolerances of acrylic to prevent internal stresses and thus cracks or breakage. Also, acrylic in thin or long strips is relatively fragile and susceptible to warping due to the heat released during cutting, so take this into account in the design.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eLaser Cutting\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAcrylic has protective film on both sides, fully protecting the sheets before, during, and after cutting. The cut is clean, sharp, and the same color as the material. Engraved areas have a slightly whiter color compared to the material.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIf the design only contains cut and engrave lines, we leave the film on both sides. If the design contains engraved areas, we must remove the film from the top side, in some cases, a small amount of smoke may adhere to the material.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePost-processing\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn principle, acrylic does not need post-processing due to the high quality of the material. The material can subsequently be glued, printed, sawn, sanded, milled, and bent. Surface and line engravings have a matte white appearance and are clearly visible.
