Kraftplex

Kraftplex is a material made from 100% compressed wood fibers and is therefore completely biodegradable. This thin, ecological and flexible material is almost indestructible.

Applications

Due to the thickness and The composition of Kraftplex allows the material to be cut with great precision. The material is often found in model making, small packaging, business cards and stencils and templates.

Laser cutting

Laser cutting creates discoloured edges, this is unavoidable. This discolouration is dark brown to black. Flat engravings are also dark brown.

Appearance

The material has a warm brownish colour that is reminiscent of MDF but is smoother than MDF. On the outside of the Kraftplex a subtle geometric pattern is palpable/visible that gives the material a very unique character. The material has no grain direction. Kraftplex can be per sheet An have different shades of brown.
