MDF Brown

Brown MDF (medium density fibreboard) is a board material that is made by pressing wood fibres together under high pressure. The material has a smooth surface and does not splinter because the material has no grain direction. Due to the smooth surface, the material is very suitable for painting.

Applications

The applications for MDF are diverse. The material is widely used in furniture, artwork, models and packaging. For projects that require painting, MDF is an excellent choice.

Laser cutting

After laser cutting there will be smoke residue on the top and bottom of the material around the cut and engravings, on both On the sides, smoke can be prevented by applying protective film. The cut are dark brown/black and engravings are dark brown. With thin variants the material does not give off, with the thicker variants this can sometimes be the case.
