Neoprene foam rubber
Neoprene foam rubber has closed cells, making it waterproof and non-absorbent to liquids. It is resistant to contact with seawater, flame-retardant, and reasonably oil-resistant. The material is widely used in shipping and offshore, as well as in industrial seals.
Applications
Neoprene Foam Rubber is a durable seal for water and other liquids, in aluminum and steel windows, the electronics industry, and partitions, industrially applicable as sound-dampening material in automotive, industry, and construction.
Designs
There are no restrictions in designing, but it is important to consider long, thin shapes. These can shift during laser cutting due to internal tension.
Laser Cutting
Neoprene rubber does not retain residue after cutting.Because the material is flexible, the dimensions of certain parts may vary slightly in reality. Engravings have little contrast. Cutting width 0.2mm (±0.05mm) Smallest included shape 6x6mm Smallest detail (engraving) 1mm Maximum size 100x50cm (up to 250x100cm possible on request) Post-processing This material can be cut with a sharp knife. Appearance Neoprene rubber is dark gray/black in color, engraved parts have the same color as the material.
