A repeat order saves setup time, but it's also an opportunity to check if you still need the exact same specifications. From your account, you can re-prepare a previous order. Files and settings will be adopted; price, material availability, and available production speed will be re-determined.
When can you repeat a previous order?
Use reordering when the drawing, material, thickness, processes, and quantities still match the new series. Also, check the billing address, delivery address, and any remarks. An old order is a practical starting point, not a guarantee that every circumstance remains unchanged.
Give changes a recognizable version
Do not silently modify an existing production file. Give a modified version a recognizable file name or revision, for example, with a date or version number. This way, you can later trace which drawing belonged to which production.
After uploading, recheck the outer dimensions, holes, engravings, and assigned processes. Even a small change can affect material usage, laser time, fit, and price.
Save an approved baseline version
In addition to your working file, always save the exact production version you ordered. When making a subsequent revision, work from a copy. This prevents fonts, hidden layers, or temporary construction lines from accidentally changing in a file that previously worked well.
From prototype to series
If you first ordered a test part, document what you adjusted after the physical inspection. Check dimensions and fit in the same material and thickness as the final series. A different material may behave differently.
If you want to reorder an unchanged batch, open your previous order. If the design has been modified, consciously upload the new version and check the entire configuration before ordering.
