From flat sheet to your product
Panels and enclosures
Recesses for connections, mounting holes and the outer shape: you include them all in your drawing. Loose panels can thus form a single enclosure, as in this example.
Displays and product holders
A product presentation does not have to be transported in one piece. This display for Zintenz is made of 6 mm poplar plywood and was shipped as a flat-pack.
Building sets and construction
Using appropriately designed joints, you can transform flat components into a three-dimensional product. For Zappie's construction kits, we cut various parts from birch plywood.
The material makes all the difference
You choose something different for a sturdy construction than for a transparent viewing panel or a protective inlay.
- Plywood and MDF: for DIY kits, displays, models, and flat parts. Poplar plywood is light; MDF has no wood grain.
- Acrylic: for clear, coloured, or mirrored viewing parts, such as panels, letters, and product holders.
- Foam, rubber, and cardboard: for inlays, gaskets, and light models, among other things. The suitable type depends on the application.

This is how your design comes to life
The shape you're drawing
A curved contour, a small hole, or a series of cut-outs: you capture them in your drawing. The laser cuts the outer shape and the openings from the same sheet.
Details engraved
Give your part a logo, text, or a useful marking. You can combine cutting and engraving in the same design, as with these coins made of gold-colored acrylic for EPIQ.
Multiple parts in one file
A product can consist of a complete set of flat parts. Group the parts compactly and add numbers or markings where necessary, so that the set remains identifiable after production.

Yes. Within the same laser cutting job, you can engrave lines or surfaces, for example, for text, a logo, or markings. The contour of the part will be cut out. You can see how to set up the operations at how to order.

We produce in our own workshop in Wormerveer. When ordering, you will see which production speeds are available and when you can expect the laser work. Choose the schedule that suits your order and check the shipping option before placing your order.
That depends on the material. Plywood and brown MDF get a dark cutting edge; transparent acrylic gets a clear edge. On wood, smoke stains can appear around the cut. Protective film can limit this, if it is available for the chosen material.

Yes, for example with slots and tabs for a kit or display. In your drawing, take into account the actual plate thickness and the material that the laser removes along the cutting line. With a small test part, you can test the fit before ordering a new construction in series. Also, check the drawing rules.

No, we do not laser cut non-metallic sheet materials. We do not offer metalworking, milling or printing. In the materials overview you can find the materials that you can have cut by us.
