Models and mock-ups

Scale models, presentation models, and loose model parts for design review, communication, and exhibitions.

Models and mock-ups

Precise scaled parts

Laser cutting is suitable for repeatable walls, floors, facades, and detailed parts. By consciously combining materials and layer thicknesses, a legible model is created without every detail having to be made manually.

What can you have made?

From study and presentation models to small series of identical scale components.

Architectural models

Architectural models

Many repeatable contours and layers within one coherent model.

Architectural Models

Architectural Models

Facades, floors, and transparent parts to a fixed scale.

Presentation Models

Presentation Models

A transparent object in which material and construction may remain visible.

Working demo models

Working demo models

Components for educational or technical models with moving parts.

Materials that often fit well

These are logical starting points, not rigid prescriptions. Compare the properties and available thicknesses with the function of your design.

MDF

Smooth and dimensionally stable for many scale models, layers, and parts that will be painted or finished.

Designs for Scale and Assembly

The smallest details, material thickness, and assembly sequence together determine whether the model remains legible and manufacturable.

Scale and detail

Check line weights, gaps, and small parts at actual product size; details that appear large on screen may disappear to scale.

Layer structure and assembly

Divide the model into logical layers or parts for assembly and take into account the thickness of each sheet.

Material per function

MDF and cardboard are practical for many model parts; acrylic can add transparency or a sharp accent of colour.

First, test one model

A trial version shows whether details, connections, and material thicknesses are correct in practice before you order multiple sets.

This is what that looked like in practice
