White wood pulp board

What is this material?White wood board is a compact wood pulp board with a smooth, matte white surface. Unlike corrugated cardboard, it does not have an open core, giving it a flatter and more solid feel.

What is it suitable for?The material is suitable for architectural models, cards, prototypes, packaging details, decorative components, and other work that requires a clean white base. The various thicknesses allow for both thin flat work and more robust models.

When designing.Long, narrow, or very small parts can tear or break along the grain. Therefore, give delicate details sufficient width and ensure connections are wide enough. For fitting constructions, consider the actual board thickness.

For laser cutting and engraving.The cut edge will be dark and may lightly rub off. Engravings turn dark brown to black; larger area engravings may leave more smoke residue. Smoke and flashback marks are more visible on the white surface than on dark cardboard. Protective film can limit smoke residue around area engravings.

Finishing and maintenance.Parts can be trimmed with a knife or scissors and glued. Remove loose residue dry and avoid moisture, as the cardboard absorbs it and can deform or lose strength as a result.
