Materiaalinformatie
Karton kiezen voor prototypes, verpakkingen en displays
Massief, gegolfd of houtkarton?
Cardboard is light, quick to process and suitable for prototypes, packaging, displays, models and presentation parts. Compare available products on sheet construction, thickness, stiffness and desired edge.
Wood pulp board for flat components
Wood pulp board has a quiet surface and fits with building parts, modelwork and presentation parts. Choose it when looking for a flat and relatively solid part without the wood appearance of plywood.
Solid cardboard for models and layers
Solid cardboard is useful for scale models, stacking layers, templates and light presentation parts. The suitable thickness depends on the detail, the desired stiffness and the number of layers in your design.
Corrugated board for light constructions
Corrugated board draws its stiffness from the corrugated core. The direction of the wave affects bending and edge. Please note that with long sections and connections. Small details and narrow cams can be more vulnerable due to the open structure.
Cutting edge, engraving and folding lines
The laser edge becomes visibly darker and can vary by type of cardboard. A line engraving is often more suitable for marking than a large filled engraving surface. Make a test part when fine text, a folding line or an appropriate connection is important.
From prototype to series
Cardboard can be used for a fast model, but also for recurring sets and temporary displays. Check that sheet type, direction and thickness should remain the same. Always look at the specific material product for the current properties and available thicknesses.
