Silicone rubber black

What is this material?Black silicone rubber is a flexible and elastic rubber sheet, available in 1 and 2 mm, that can be cut precisely.

What is it suitable for?Suitable for flexible gaskets, seals, dampers, splash and dust covers, and insulating parts.

When designing.Consider flexibility and thickness tolerance. Avoid sharp notches and very thin sections under tensile stress.

When laser cutting and engraving.The laser makes a precise cut. Residue may remain along cuts and engravings, and relaxation may cause the final size to differ slightly from the digital drawing.

Finishing and maintenance.The material can be trimmed with a sharp knife. Remove any remaining residue and always assess regulated applications against the required documentation.
