Polyester (PET-G) transparent

What is this material? PET-G is a clear, glossy polyester sheet that feels stronger and more flexible than many thin transparent sheets. The material combines transparency with flexibility and is suitable for light shielding and presentation applications.

What is it suitable for? PET-G is suitable for displays, poster protection, display case parts, light protective covers, and transparent interior components where visibility of the contents and some flexibility are desired.

When designing. Consider heat input: long narrow strips and fine details can deform during cutting. Line engravings remain subtle, and area engraving is not offered due to melting. For clear contrast, it's better to use a different material or solution.

For laser cutting and engraving. Laser cutting produces a smooth, clear edge, but localized heat can cause slight deformation. Simple line engravings are possible and remain largely colorless. The sheet is supplied with protective layers to minimize scratches during processing.

Finishing and maintenance. Remove the protective layers only when necessary for assembly or use; the unprotected surface is prone to scratching. Clean with a soft cloth and a cleaner suitable for transparent plastics. Preferably use the material indoors. Do you want to further process parts yourself after cutting?
