Colored MDF

What is this material?Colored MDF is a through-colored 5 mm wood fiberboard, available in blue, red, green, orange, and yellow.

What is it suitable for?Suitable for decorative interior components, furniture parts, letters, displays, and exhibition stand construction.

When designing.The entire cross-section has the same base color. Take into account the normal panel characteristics of MDF and use sufficiently wide joints for load-bearing shapes.

When laser cutting and engraving.Laser cutting creates a dark edge that contrasts with the colored core. Engravings become darker and are therefore clearly visible.

Finishing and maintenance.The surface can be sanded and finished. Always test oil, varnish, glue, or other finishes on a scrap piece first, as color and absorption may change depending on the finish.
