Wooden wall cladding for the Floriade

For the Turkish pavilion on the Floriade 2022 we made more than one hundred poplar panels with geometric cuts. Together they formed a striking wooden wall covering.

From design to production

Our approach

We cut the geometric patterns in panels from 30 x 40 to 120 x 240 cm and applied the stain for this project. Then the panels could be mounted on location as one continuous wall image.

What it achieved

The result

More than a hundred separate panels that together form a recognizable, rhythmic wall for the pavilion.
