From design to production

Our approach

The outlines are laser-cut from 5 mm birch plywood and the information is applied as line engraving. After laser processing, each map is varnished.

What it achieved

The result

The series consists of 120 laser-cut and line-engraved menu cards.

Wooden menus for daily use

For Omelegg we made 120 menu cards from 5 mm birch plywood. The visible wood grain gives each card its own character, while the shape and layout remain the same throughout the series.

We cut the outer contour, applied text and illustrations as line engraving and varnished the cards after laser processing.

Recognizable down to every detail

A series like this involves more than one beautiful copy. The position of the engraving, outside size and finish must maintain the same appearance on every card.
