Gift box with foam inlay

Laser Lokaal created a gift box for a figurine. The exterior is made from 3mm plywood; inside, a custom-cut hard foam inlay holds the gift in place. The logo is engraved into the wood.

From design to production

Our approach

The box components are cut from 3 mm plywood and engraved. For the interior, hard foam is custom-cut around the shape of the figurine, so that the packaging and presentation are integrated as a single unit.

What it achieved

The result

A wooden presentation box with brand engraving and a matching foam inlay for the corporate gift.

A packaging that becomes part of the gift

For this promotional gift we combined a wooden box with an inlay that is cut precisely around the statue. The exterior of 3 mm plywood gives the packaging a warm appearance; the engraving makes it personal.

Inside, the hard foam keeps the product neatly in place. This way, presentation and protection work together in one design.

Two materials, one whole

The plywood box requires well-fitting flat connections. The foam inlay is all about contour, depth and gripping space. By designing both from the same product, the inside automatically matches the packaging.
