Foam inlay for a corporate gift

Laser Lokaal made a custom power bank inlay for Evoke. Layers of 5 and 20 mm hard foam were laser-cut and glued together to form a 25 mm thick inlay, as this thickness was not available in a single sheet.

From design to production

Our approach

Het Laser Lokaal laser-cut the shapes from 5 and 20 mm hard foam and glued the layers together to a custom thickness of 25 mm. This layered construction was a special request.

The custom inlay fits in a letterbox package with the power bank.

A suitable place for the power bank

For Evoke we made a hard foam inlay that neatly presents the power bank and keeps it in place in a letterbox package.

The required thickness of 25 mm was not available as a single sheet. That is why we combined laser-cut layers of 5 and 20 mm to create the correct structure.

Designed around product and packaging

With a good inlay, the product contour, the outer dimensions of the packaging and the total depth must be correct at the same time. It is precisely this combination that ensures that the product can be placed and removed comfortably.
