Laser-cut stage design for Vlisco

Together with Projectbureau-X we made the sheet parts for a colourful Vlisco set decor. Painted MDF, satin acrylic and tinted acrylic each provide their own layer in the image.

From design to production

Our approach

We divided the necessary shapes into three sheet materials and cut each part according to the supplied composition. This allowed colour, transparency and matte surfaces to be brought together in a single decor.

The result

A layered set image in which different colours, gloss levels and transparency reinforce each other.

Three materials, one colourful decor image

Together with Projectbureau-X we produced the sheet parts for a Vlisco set decor. Painted MDF, satin acrylic and tinted acrylic each brought a different colour, shine and transparency to the composition.

We cut the shapes per material and delivered them ready to be brought together within the set.

Contrast that changes with the light

The combination of matte and transparent surfaces gives the decor layering. Depending on light and viewing angle, different shapes and colours are always striking.
