The story of Little Creations. They approached us with a clear wish: To produce a wooden construction kit that customers could decorate. In this blog, we take you from the first contact to the final result.
The beginning: an idea on paper
Contact with Little Creations began with a sketch and a clear question: "Can you help us to create a wooden construction kit from MDF?"
They already had a concept design but were looking for a way to produce quickly – without high entry costs or weeks of delivery time. Laser cutting quickly proved to be the ideal solution: fast, accurate, and scalable from a single piece.
The execution: from digital file to tangible result
Little Creations supplied their design as an AI file. After a quick check and some minor adjustments, it turned out that the file was almost ready for production.
They chose 3mm brown MDF because of its sleek appearance, sturdiness, and low cost. The design consisted of several parts: a base plate with clickable walls and floors.
After approval, the project was immediately put into production. Within 5 days, the parts were ready for shipment.
The result: functional, professional, and completely custom-made
The final product met all expectations: the construction kit was easy to assemble, sturdy enough for frequent use, and could be shipped as a flat-pack in a letterbox package.
They then decided to create other more complex models with different functionalities.
