Acrylic matt transparent

What is this material?Matte transparent acrylic is a colorless plastic with a fine satin finish on both sides. It allows light and shapes to pass through but softens the view and reflects less than clear acrylic.

What is it suitable for?Suitable for diffusers, privacy panels, displays, illuminated components, and interior applications where a calm, semi-transparent appearance is desired.

When designing.For illuminated applications, check beforehand how much transparency and light diffusion you need. For fitting parts, consider the thickness tolerance and avoid long, very narrow shapes when stiffness is important.

When laser cutting and engraving.Laser cutting produces a clean, clear cut edge. Line and surface engravings become matte white and are visible without losing the serene appearance of the surface.

Finishing and maintenance.The sheets have protective film. For surface engraving, the film on the top side is removed, and slight smoke marks may appear. Clean the satin surface carefully with a soft cloth.

Further finishing yourself.You can further process or glue acrylic yourself after cutting. Be aware of stress in the cut edge: small cracks may appear during post-processing. Therefore, try the chosen process on a scrap piece first.
