Acrylic Matte White

What is this material?Matte white acrylic is an opaque plastic with an even satin finish on both sides. The surface is a calm white and reflects less than the glossy variant.

What is it suitable for?Suitable for nameplates, facade letters, displays, cover panels, and interior components where an opaque white surface without strong gloss is desired.

When designing.For fitting parts and finger joints, consider the thickness tolerance. Long, narrow, or very thin parts are relatively fragile and may slightly deform due to the heat of cutting.

When laser cutting and engraving.The laser creates a clean white cutting edge. Line and area engravings have a lighter, matte appearance; the contrast is more subtle than with black or strongly colored acrylic.

Finishing and maintenance.The sheets have protective film. For area engraving, the film is removed from the top, and slight smoke marks may appear. Clean the matte surface carefully with a soft cloth.

Further processing yourself.You can further process or glue acrylic yourself after cutting. Be aware of tension in the cutting edge: small cracks may appear during post-processing. Therefore, try the chosen process on a scrap piece first.
