Acrylic mirror silver

What is this material? Silver mirror acrylic is an opaque plastic sheet with a silver mirror surface on the front and a reflective coating on the back. The material creates the effect of a mirror without the weight of glass.

What is it suitable for? Suitable for interior decoration, displays, letters, logos, exhibition materials, props, and art objects where a clear silver mirror effect is desired.

When designing. The mirror image is created on one side. Long, narrow parts remain relatively fragile, and thickness tolerance must be taken into account for fitting parts.

For laser cutting and engraving. The material is typically engraved from the back, which locally removes the mirror coating and makes the engraving clearly visible. Please supply your file as it should be read; we will take care of the necessary mirroring during production.

Finishing and maintenance. The mirror side has a protective film, but the back coating is unprotected and susceptible to damage. Clean the front carefully with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive or aggressive agents.

Further finishing yourself. After cutting, you can further process or glue acrylic yourself. Be aware of tension in the cut edge: small cracks may appear during post-processing. Therefore, try the chosen process on a scrap piece first.
