Laser cutting or engraving a logo: here's how it works

Choose the right route for a loose laser cut logo, an engraving in sheet material or a logo on an existing product.
Eigen logo graveren op producten - Het Laser Lokaal

A logo can be cut from a sheet, engraved in a new laser-cut part or added to an existing product. Here you can find which file suits the result you need.

Separate logo from sheet material

Make the outer shapes, inner shapes and loose letters as useful vector contours of true size. Check small openings and parts that would fall out of a letter or image mark without connection. Material, assembly and spacers choose or arrange separately; they are not automatically part of the cutting file.

Logo in a laser cut part

Combine the cutting contour with line or area engraving. A line engraving follows vector lines; A area engraving fills closed vector shapes. Use different supported line colors and select the operations after the upload.

Logo on an existing product

For a customer-supplied product, we assess material, surface, shape, size, weight, engraving position and risk beforehand. See the options for product engraving and send clear photos, the quantity and your best available logo file.

Only a JPG or PNG available

A raster image is not a cutting contour. Ask for the original vector file where possible. If you do not have one, read how to obtain a suitable file. A simple logo can sometimes be traced, but check for duplicate paths, open shapes and distorted details. Het Laser Lokaal does not design logos or brand identities.

Check before ordering

After the upload check which lines and shapes are recognized. Text must be converted to contours and embedded pixel images skipped.
