Acrysign (Acrylic)

What is this material?Acrysign is a thick, opaque acrylic sheet available in various colours. One side is finely matted and the other is high-gloss, allowing you to choose the look that suits your design.

What is it suitable for?Especially suitable for sturdy letters, logos, nameplates, and other applications where a thick, solid-coloured sheet is desired.

When designing.When assembling matching parts, consider the thickness tolerance and determine in advance which side should be visible in your application. The matte and glossy sides each give a different final appearance. By default, we cut with the matte side up. If you want the glossy side up, please mention this when placing your order.

When laser cutting and engraving.The laser creates a clean cutting edge in the colour of the material. Line and surface engravings become lighter and matte, making them visibly stand out against both the matte and glossy sides.

Finishing and maintenance.The sheets have protective film. For surface engraving, the film on the top side is removed, and slight smoke marks may occur. Clean the surface with a soft cloth and a mild acrylic cleaner.

Further finishing yourself.You can further process or glue acrylic yourself after cutting. Be aware of tension in the cutting edge: small cracks may occur during post-processing. Therefore, try the chosen process on a scrap piece first.
