Bio panel sheets are made from industrial hemp and Biological PLA. The sheets are biobased, which means they are made from biological products, and the material is also biodegradable, meaning it is biologically degradable. The sheets are produced in Europe. They are dark brown in color. Unlike other bioplastics, Bio panel is suitable for outdoor applications, and the sheets last at least 10 years. The Bio panel is CO-2 neutral
Applications
Bio panel is a good bioplastic replacement for Trespa and Dibond, and the properties of Bio panel are largely similar to these materials. The sheets are easy to print on and to laminate. Because the sheets last at least 10 years, even with outdoor use, they are well-suited for applications such as: signage, displays, and wayfinding.
Laser Cutting
The material cuts like regular plastic, the cut is clean and precise. This also applies to surface engravings. Due to the cutting process, residue may form on the underside of the material, which can be prevented with protective film. Residue on the top side mainly occurs due to surface engravings, but cutting and engraving lines also contribute to this. Residue on the top side of the material can be prevented by using protective film on the top side.

Appearance
The material is dark brown in color (comparable to Ral 8017) and has a natural appearance. The color may vary slightly between sheets. UV light causes the sheet to fade slightly, but this does not compromise the quality of the material.
