Only use lines that need to be produced
Remove duplicate lines, hidden objects, construction lines, and details that have no function. Every extra movement takes time and can lead to an unexpected result.
Keep shapes compact and purposeful
Smaller parts usually use less material. Also, check if open spaces can be utilized by placing other parts inside them. Do not add an imaginary standard plate to your file.
Choose material and thickness based on function
Thicker or harder is not automatically better. Choose what is necessary for strength, appearance, and use. Compare materials and, if in doubt, order a sample first.
Consciously choose between line and area engraving
A line follows a path; an area engraving fills a shape. Which option is more efficient depends on the size, complexity, and amount of engraving work. Use the process that suits the desired image and check the price after uploading.
Test before ordering a series
A prototype or small test piece prevents a size, fit, or material choice from being repeated in the full production run. If the design is correct, you can increase the quantity in the portal and have the series recalculated.
