Your laser-work price depends on material use, laser time, material and thickness, quantity and production options. The portal calculates the price after upload.
Copies or your own layout?
For several copies of the same part, upload it once and enter the quantity. For different shapes, a compact layout of your own can save material. Use the selected material's sheet dimensions and keep at least 5 mm between separate parts and around the sheet edges.
Keep only production paths
Remove duplicate lines, guides, hidden objects and unnecessary details. Extra paths can add laser time or unintended operations. Place parts compactly without overlapping their contours.
Choose thickness for the function
Use the sheet needed for strength, fit, weight and appearance. Greater thickness is not automatically better. A material sample helps with colour and surface; a prototype shows a critical fit.
Choose the engraving operation
Line engraving follows a path; area engraving fills a shape. Larger engraved areas generally take more processing time. Select the desired appearance and compare its price after upload.
Test before scaling up
A small prototype can catch a dimensional or material problem before it is repeated through a whole batch. Update the source, then order the approved version in the required quantity.
