First compare the production process
Start with what you actually want to purchase. A production-ready part made from flat sheet material requires a different working method than an idea that still needs to be technically developed. With a correct vector file you want to be able to set material, operations, quantity, price and planning independently. For a sketch, customer-supplied material, an existing product or special logistics, discuss the requirements first.
With a production drawing ready, it is useful to compare material, quantities and prices yourself. For a new concept or special packaging, you may prefer to speak to someone. Check material and file information
