Cork

Cork is a porous, light and elastic material. In addition to the fact that cork can be compressed up to 30% of its original volume, the material is also antistatic and moisture and fire resistant.

Applications

Because cork consists largely of air, it is an ideal material for heat and sound insulation. Furthermore, the material is also extremely suitable for use as a base material for noticeboards, decoration, coasters and waterproof closures.

Laser cutting

During cutting, considerable soot deposits are created on the cutting edge. Line and surface engravings have minimal deposits. Protective film on the front prevents residue around cutting edges and surface engravings, on the back, protective film prevents kickback from the cutting bed (black spots).

Cutting width0.2mm (±0.05mm)
Smallest shape supplied6x6mm

Post-processing

Appearance

The cutting lines have a stop on the top, bottom and edge. Engraving surfaces and cutting lines are black with minimal stop on the material. All parts are securely packed in a box to minimize risk of damage.
